Happy 60th Anniversary!: Gary and Louise Bush

Gary and Louise Bush of Clinton, Utah, recently celebrated their 60th anniversary with a family dinner at a local restaurant.

They were married on August 22, 1957, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was born in Logan, Utah and has lived in Smithfield, Ogden and Layton, Utah. He attended school in Cache, Weber and Davis counties and graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo in 1959. He was employed by the Utah Department of Employment Security for 30 years until his retirement. He then delivered for the US Postal service for five years. He served in the Utah National Guard and US Air Force Reserve for a total of 34 years, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

She was born in Ogden, Utah, and lived in Wilson (now West Haven). She graduated from Weber High School and attended Stevens-Henager Business School. She worked for Sears and other places in Ogden, and helped support Gary through school by working at Geneva Steel in Provo.

They have lived in Clearfield, Utah and have resided in Clinton, Utah for the past 50 years.

Their children and spouses are: Christine and Lee Lipsey of Roy; Beverly and Jeff Morford of Fort Morgan, Colorado; Charles Bush of Roy; Vernon Bush of Roy; Richard and Rachel Bush of Ogden; and Elizabeth Bush of Clinton. They have six grandchildren.
